Egypt’s Finance Ministry announces co-operation with 2,000 global investment institutions

The Head of the Ministry spoke about activities to attract funds to the country’s economy

The Investor Relations Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Finance is actively interacting with more than 2,000 global investment institutions, said Mohamed Maait, head of the ministry. This is reported by

Maait emphasised the ministry’s keenness to showcase Egypt’s economic and investment opportunities. He pointed to the new vector in the country’s development, which emphasises structural reforms to stimulate economic growth. The minister also revealed that emphasis is being placed on developing the private sector.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Finance, Maait highlighted the continuous year-round dialogue that the Investor Relations Division maintains with some 2,000 relevant organisations around the world. Representatives of the department also distribute a monthly overview of the country’s key economic indicators, including public debt and budget data. This report provides foreign investors with accurate and up-to-date information on Egypt’s economic climate.

The Investor Relations Division of the Egyptian Ministry of Finance also produces an investor guide describing the benefits of investing in the country’s economy and providing information on tax incentives.
