Number of companies with loss-making earnings declines significantly in India
The data was provided by the DSP Mutual Fund study
Against the backdrop of cost-cutting and efficiency gains after the COVID-19 pandemic, corporate profitability in India is soaring and loss-making firms are experiencing a significant decline.
This global phenomenon is attributed to improving financial conditions, influential government spending, stable economic environment and a successful economic recovery in the country. This is reported by
IANS, a partner of TV BRICS.
According to research from DSP Mutual Fund, one in five companies doubled their profits over the period, exceeding average annual profit growth of 19 per cent. Many of them were able to outperform the growth rate of the NSE500 and Nifty indices with exceptional performance.
