Trade turnover between China and Iran rise 37 per cent in January-February 2024

Trade turnover between Iran and China stood at US$2,8 billion in January-February 2024, showing a 37 per cent year-on-year growth. This is reported by
Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.
In the first two months of 2024, China exported US$2,5 billion worth of products to Iran, up 45 per cent year-on-year.
The total trade volume between Iran and China in 2023 reached US$14.65 billion.
China’s exports to Iran increased by 8,6 percent to US$10,07 billion in 2023.
The 25-year strategic partnership plan between the two countries, signed by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in March 2021, is in a new phase of development.
