United Arab Emirates Health Council meets to discuss strategic initiatives in country’s health sector
Led by Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, the meeting brought together representatives from various government health authorities and the private sector to discuss the future plan for the healthcare system.
The aim of the meeting was to strengthen co-operation and co-ordination between various health initiatives and projects, and to strengthen unity in realising the UAE’s national health goals. In addition, the meeting aimed to develop a future plan for the country in the healthcare sector that will enable it to take a leading position and achieve advanced results in this field. Thus one of the country’s innovative projector utilises advanced cloud computing technologies, offering a secure platform for storing, sharing and managing medical data. It facilitates quick and easy access to medical information, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
From improving communication between healthcare providers and patients to facilitating innovation in medical research and providing advanced analytical capabilities to identify trends and diseases, the cloud-based healthcare project is paving the way to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery.
The Council also reviewed the UAE’s most significant achievements in enhancing the country’s competitiveness in global health indicators, aiming to improve the health of members of society, the country’s quality of life and ensure sustainability.
The Health Council plays a key role in coordinating the efforts of health organisations to improve the quality of services and the health of the population.
