The Future Games infrastructure will be utilised during the BRICS Games in Kazan in the summer of 2024. Currently, 73 countries are negotiating their participation in the BRICS Games. This was announced by Tatarstan’s Sports Minister Vladimir Leonov at a press conference in Moscow.

“In June, we invite everyone to Kazan. It is the first time we will host the BRICS Games in this format (fijital), 73 states are negotiating,” Leonov emphasised.

The Minister of Sport of the Republic noted that during the Games the BRICS countries will use the infrastructure of the Games of the Future. In addition, Leonov shared that 30 sports will be presented at the upcoming sports festival. This is reported by TASS.

He also added that two more disciplines have been included. These are fijital football and fijital basketball. “Everyone is welcome,” the official concluded.

The Games of the Future took place from 21 February to 3 March in Kazan. More than 2,000 people took part in the competition.
