President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa will continue to seek an audience with the United States (US) with the aim of discussing issues of concern to the White House.
This comes after the US criticised South Africa on its Expropriation Act.
Addressing the media on the margins of the G20 Foreign Affairs meeting in Johannesburg, Ramaphosa says diplomatic relations are the only means to resolve differences between countries.
He says, “We are committed to having a good relationship with the United States and we do relate in a number of ways. We will in the diplomatic process be able to have to matters discussed to iron out those wrinkles that might have appeared in our relationship.”
