BRICS+ Creatives and Cultural Forum 2024 unites nations to strengthen global influence

The event will bring together cultural experts, entrepreneurs, youth leaders, and government officials from BRICS+ nations

The South African BRICS Youth Association (SABYA) announces the upcoming BRICS+ Creatives and Cultural Forum 2024, scheduled to take place on 7 December 2024 in the online format. TV BRICS is the international media partner of the forum.

It will be held under the theme: “How can BRICS+ leverage cultural diplomacy to strengthen global influence.”

The programme will feature expert-led discussions addressing key strategies to build a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative global creative economy. Participants will explore economic opportunities for cultural entrepreneurs, sustainable practices in the arts, and the broader role of cultural diplomacy in enhancing global influence.

Head of the East Asia and Africa Department in the International Cooperation Division at TV BRICS, Evgeniya Tolstoguzova, will participate in the plenary session.

According to the organisers, the forum is expected to become a platform for dialogue on creative and cultural industries, strengthen people-to-people ties in BRICS+ countries, and enhance the role of youth in international relations.

It will showcase the heritage and traditions of BRICS+ nations through a virtual cultural celebration featuring music, dance, visual arts, and more.

The South African BRICS Youth Association (SABYA), founded in 2018 and registered with the Department of Social Development in South Africa, is a non-profit organisation focused on empowering youth within BRICS+ nations.
