Iran becomes 3rd at 2024 Moscow Karate Universe

More than 300 athletes took part in the competition

Moscow Karate Universe international competition was held in Moscow.

Iranian athletes won a total of three medals – one gold, one silver, and one bronze – at the competition. In the individual events, Saleh Abazari earned the gold medal, while Mehdi Ashouri secured the silver. Morteza Nemati, received a bronze medal.

This year’s competition attracted athletes from around the world, including Iran, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, and Tunisia. Among them were Olympic champions, several world champions, as well as winners and medallists from their respective continents. This is reported by

The Russians won the overall standings. They won 6 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals. The second place went to the team of Kazakhstan (3-2-3).
