Minsk and the Chinese city of Qingdao sign partnership agreement
The document envisages deepening of partnership in the field of economy, culture and technology
The agreement on the establishment of partnership between Minsk and Qingdao will strengthen ties between the cities. This was stated by Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Belarusian capital Vladimir Kukharev, reports

The document provides for the development of cooperation in such areas as science, trade, culture, economy, education and high technology.
“This list will be expanded, because the signing of the agreement will give a new impetus to the development of our relations in various areas. In the near future we will draw up a detailed plan that will specify all our intentions,” Vladimir Kukharev stressed.
According to him, the implementation of joint projects will begin next year.
In turn, Qizhi Fan, Director of the Qingdao Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, emphasised the significance of this agreement.
“This is a memorable moment for the development of our ties, which opened a new page in the history of relations between the two cities,” said the representative of the Chinese side.
