Dubai Health Authority unveils digital system to strengthen public health and vaccine management
The system enables real-time monitoring and assessment of infectious diseases
At the Healthcare Future Summit 2024, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced the launch of its advanced Hasana system, a cutting-edge digital platform designed to elevate vaccine management, public health monitoring, and infectious disease control across Dubai. This is reported by
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
This pioneering system integrates smart technologies to connect public and private healthcare facilities, ensuring seamless, swift access to immunisation records and enhancing the efficiency of vaccine delivery.
Hasana serves as a unified platform that simplifies immunisation management across the Emirate, enabling precise tracking of vaccine records for DHA employees, healthcare providers, schools, and the public. By maintaining updated individual health records, the system guarantees that vaccines reach those in need with accuracy and speed, reducing human error and enhancing the coordination of healthcare facilities throughout Dubai.
The system enables real-time monitoring and assessment of infectious diseases.
In addition to supporting immunisation campaigns, Hasana monitors vaccine stock levels and records immunisation side effects, ensuring Dubai meets international standards for vaccine safety and public health responses. The platform’s electronic connectivity between healthcare facilities promotes the swift exchange of information, allowing for timely decision-making in urgent situations.
