Science fiction writers and scientists from around the world to discuss the future of the Earth at international symposium in Moscow
More than 3 thousand researchers will take part in the event
The International Symposium “Inventing the Future” will be held in the Russian capital from 4 to 6 November. This is the first large-scale event under the auspices of the National Centre “Russia”. TV BRICS is the media partner of the event.
The symposium will bring together over 3,000 science fiction writers, philosophers, futurologists and business representatives from Russia, India, China, Iran, UAE, Kazakhstan, Serbia and other countries.
The mission of the event is to awaken people’s interest in designing the future. The main topics of discussion will be the further development of life on Earth, the impact of technology on society and the role of man in progress.
One of the key events of the symposium will be a thematic exhibition demonstrating the central role of humans in the future of the world. Three sections of the exhibition will showcase the achievements of inventors and visionary ideas, as well as contemporary works by young artists from Russia, China, India, Iran and Ethiopia. The culmination of the exhibition will be an introduction to the art object, which is a lecture space for discussions, where each visitor will be able to offer his or her vision of improving the world.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the National Centre “Russia” last summer to promote interstate cooperation and showcase the country’s achievements. The International Symposium is a platform for a comprehensive dialogue on the future of the world.
