Vietnam ranks fourth at the concluded Asian Wushu 2024 Championships

The tournament attracted 300 outstanding martial artists from 20 countries

The Vietnamese team finished fourth in the team standings at the concluded Asian Wushu 2024 Championships held in Macau, China. This is reported by 
Vietnam News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.

The team’s athletes won three gold medals, two silver medals and nine bronze medals, behind only teams from China, Iran and Malaysia.

“The results in taolu (performance) and sanda (combat) reflect the dedication of both the coaching staff and the athletes. We appreciate the excellent fighting spirit demonstrated by our martial artists in the finals,” said Vu Van Trung, the Head of the wushu section at the Sports Authority of Vietnam.

The championship was a crucial international tournament for Vietnamese athletes, giving them the opportunity to improve their skills and gain valuable experience.

The tournament attracted 300 outstanding martial artists from 20 countries, with 11 nations winning medals of various merits.
