Russian ballet works to be shown in Belgrade

The audience will see fragments of classical and contemporary productions

A gala concert of the Bolshoi Theatre artists will be held in Belgrade. This is reported by
MTS TV, a partner of TV BRICS.

The performance will take place on 13 September. It should be noted that the last time the artists of the Bolshoi Theatre came to the Serbian capital almost half a century ago, in 1979.

The best examples of Russian ballet will be performed by the musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic under the baton of the Bolshoi Theatre conductor Aleksey Bogorad. In particular, the programme includes fragments of classical works such as Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Spartacus, Don Quixote, The Corsair and The Talisman.

In addition, the audience will see a number of contemporary productions and interpretations.

The concert will take place on the stage of one of the largest cultural and exhibition centres in the Balkans, which also hosts international events.

The organisers note that the upcoming performance of the leading representatives of the Russian ballet will be an important event in the cultural life of Belgrade and Serbia.
