Saudi Arabia carries out volunteer medical projects in Sudan
The Royal Relief Agency KSrelief continues to provide medical assistance to vulnerable people
Eleven volunteers with a variety of specialisations are participating in a surgery project at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) in Port Sudan from July 13 to July 20.
According to the source, six procedures have already been carried out by team members. This is reported by
Arab News.
A similar orthopaedic surgery project is underway in Seyoun district, where volunteers have already performed seven surgeries.
Earlier this year, KSrelief had already conducted a medical programme on catheterisation and cardiac surgery for children and adults. As part of this programme, the volunteer medical team performed 166 successful catheterisation procedures and 25 open heart surgeries.
This assistance is part of a series of humanitarian programmes that Saudi Arabia is implementing through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to help needy and affected countries and people around the world.
This initiative is part of the humanitarian initiatives Saudi Arabia is carrying out through its humanitarian branch, KSrelief, to aid impacted and underprivileged nations and their citizens worldwide.
