The Eastern Province Municipality is currently working on more than 80 development projects and programmes in Alkhobar Governorate. 

These initiatives include improving neighbourhoods, upgrading roads, building new parks and implementing integrated development projects in various sectors. 

The municipality has highlighted a programme to improve key roads, under which more than 38 roads will be built in the governorate. This is reported by
Arab News.

Efforts are also being made to improve traffic flow on numerous roads and intersections by improving the efficiency of the road network and ensuring traffic safety in line with international standards.
