Dubai announces advanced standards for oncology services
This project aligns with the goals of the Dubai Health Strategy
In partnership with the Emirates Cancer Society, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has released a new set of guidelines guiding the delivery of cancer treatments in Dubai healthcare facilities. This is reported by
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
The programme aligns with the objectives and priorities stated in the Dubai Health Strategy 2026, which seeks to establish a healthcare infrastructure that would enable Dubai to emerge as a preeminent healthcare hub with superior patient outcomes.
The new guidelines are a further demonstration of DHA’s dedication to providing patients with the best possible results by providing superior therapeutic and diagnostic services and enhancing their road to recovery. In a patient-centred system, the regulations will also aid in enhancing healthcare’s accessibility, sustainability, and effectiveness.
According to the research, DHA would guarantee the sustainability and accessibility of these essential services, as well as encourage cost-effective care. Furthermore, DHA plans to concentrate on the advancement of oncology services in order to address future demands and obstacles related to patient diagnostics and healthcare delivery.
