Giant mammoth skeletons will be demonstrated at the Daqing Museum in Heilongjiang province, northeastern China. This is reported by
Xinhua News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.

The Chinese Museum has introduced modern technologies, including holographic projection and augmented reality, to digitally revive an extinct prehistoric animal that went extinct over 10,000 years ago.

The skeletons are close to a computer kiosk. The bison’s bones, muscles, and original state are all visible when people touch the screen. The fossil skeleton on the screen becomes a vibrant, lifelike animal when it is in running mode.

There are around 100,000 fossils in the collection, representing 43 different species. Additionally, almost 90 per cent of the fossils of Quaternary mammals are housed in the museum.
