Asian Physics Olympiad 2025 to be held in Saudi Arabia

It is the largest scientific and educational event in the region

Saudi Arabia will host the Asian Physics Olympiad 2025. High school students from 27 countries will take part in it. This is reported by
Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Amal bin Abdullah Secretary-General, a representative of a state educational foundation, said that holding the event on the territory of the Kingdom will be another step in the implementation of the strategy “Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030”.

The Olympiad is expected to be held in May. The event will be organised by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

The Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) is an annual competition for high school students in Asia and Oceania. It is one of the international science Olympiads. It was initiated in 2000 by Indonesia.
