Ethiopian farmers experience significant surge in yield as result of cluster farming
Cluster farming has an impact on profit growth
According to Ethiopian farmers, cluster farming has improved living conditions and raised food security by dramatically increasing harvests. This is reported by
ENA.
Ethiopia has created cluster farming development programmes in recent years. These programmes organise and unite farmers in a certain geographic area based on how close their agricultural plots are to one another, with the goal of fostering economies of scale and synergies.
It was discovered that these farming techniques enhanced food security and enabled small farmers to grow more wheat, barley, and other food crops.
The source claims that 353,000 hectares of land have been farmed thus far.
