India hosts exhibition of Russian education
More than 500 high school students attended the opening of an exhibition of Russian education at the Russian House in Chennai. Indian interest in studying in Russia continues to grow, and this year the number of visitors doubled compared to last year.
The event was inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ma. Subramanian. He wished good luck to the future students of Russian universities. Oleg Avdeev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Chennai, also attended the exhibition.
Representatives of leading Russian universities – Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Volgograd Medical University, Kazan State Medical University, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Moscow Aviation Institute and Moscow State Regional University – answered questions from applicants and their parents.
The exhibition of Russian education will also be held in other major cities of the state – Madurai, Trichy, Salem and will conclude on 17 May in Coimbatore.
