93 countries and territories to be allowed entering Thailand without visas

Thailand’s cabinet approved a number of visa liberalisation measures, including longer stays for foreign visitors, remote workers, and graduate students. This is reported by
Xinhua News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.

Beginning in June, travellers from 93 countries and territories be able to enter Thailand without a visa for stays up to 60 days. Additionally, the number of people who can obtain a visa upon arrival will rise from 19 to 31.

The duration of the visa for digital nomads who want to work remotely and stay in Thailand for an extended length of time will be increased from 60 days to five years, with a maximum stay of 180 days per stay.

According to the same source, international students will be permitted to remain for a year following graduation.
